I initially approached Richard to make a new staircase for a Victorian property that wasn't selling due to an old spiral staircase making it unsuitable for families. From the initial site visit, Richard instantly knew from his experience the best way of fitting a timber staircase into the existing space, and the speed and quality of the workmanship meant the new staircase was in, finished and the house sold within three weeks.

Since then I have used Richard and his joiners to make a variety of unique staircases to fulfill client needs, everything from a minimalist solid oak open plan stairs for a modern London development, to a staircase made from un-planed, unfinished pine to fit into a thatched cottage (a challenge considering the tolerances required to make a staircase).

Additionally I have used Richard for all other aspects of joinery I have required, doors, windows etc. Anything required in timber that needs to be bespoke has been beautifully made. Again the speed, quality and accuracy of everything produced by him and his team would lead me to recommend Richard to anyone unhesitatingly.
